Removes every period, all student codes, and all scores. Your games, units, and question bank are kept. Export any gradebooks you want to save first.
Pick a period on the left, or add your first one.
Questions are added to the table below as a draft. Read them over and fix anything before you create the game. Don't paste student names or work.
One question per line, columns in this order: Question, Correct answer, Wrong 1, Wrong 2, Wrong 3, Explanation, Image link (optional).
Or upload a .txt, .csv, or Excel file with the same layout (spreadsheet columns: Type, Question, Answers, Explanation, Image link). Other types: start the line with the type and separate parts with ||: numeric || Molar mass of H2O? || 18.02 ± 0.05 || explanation, multi || Noble gases? || *He | *Ne | Na || …, text || Name for Na? || sodium | natrium, order || Smallest to largest || H | He | Li, match || Match || H = Hydrogen | O = Oxygen. Copy the cells from Google Sheets or Excel and paste here.
Any single-file HTML game. To record scores, the game calls reportScore(score, maxScore) when it ends. Files up to 5 MB.
Check a period to open the game to those students. Uncheck to close it — past scores stay in the gradebook. Use Schedule to set open and close times.
Games other Arena teachers have shared. Copy one and it becomes yours to edit and assign.

Rows are in roster order, so they line up with your own gradebook. "Gradebook points" scales each student's best score to the points you set on the Games tab. Group games by unit on the Games tab, then choose "Unit totals only" to get one column per unit for your district gradebook. Click any score to see every attempt, or a game's title to see which questions the class missed.
